Polyester paints

High dry residue preparation base coats with excellent filling and excellent sanding.

Polyester primers are used for the preparation of the application of direct polish, generally referred to as “polyesters”, not containing paraffin, allow easy manual sanding, comparable to that of polyurethane primers; from the latter are distinguished by the high dry residue, which allows a higher filling capacity with fewer applications. The polyesters, being particularly resistant to “decline” and removal, are suitable for closed pore cycles, both transparent and pigmented, and are ideal for painting kitchens and bathrooms. Their conspicuous “thixotropy” makes them suitable for painting shaped artifacts, even vertically.

Paraffin polyester products, thanks to their excellent chemical-mechanical resistance, their high filling capacity and their resistance to removal and “decline”, are used both as primers, which, after special sanding, brushing and polishing processes, as well as finishes with exceptional brilliance. Due to their high dry residue, they are particularly suitable for closed pore cycles and for painting modern furniture. They are products based on unsaturated resins, to which special paraffins are added. These are used to prevent the paint film from coming into contact with the air: forming an insulating barrier.
